After a 6am start and two hours kicking my feet in Chicago on the way to Miami, I touched down 8pm Miami time, 1am UK time, for a dinner date with Mark Moore at 'Michael's Genuine Food and Drink'.
After a very quick change at The Marriott it was exciting while riding a cab through the design district to see how many spaces there are now, with the galleries gearing up for their own Miami Basel week.
Mark and his daughter Catlin were excellent company, and its always nice to educate a seasoned Santa Monica dealer about Spanish wine. I believe he got a taste for it as the third bottle made its way over, but by 1am it was time to turn in, having completed my first and last 24 hour stint of the week.
